Free eye check-up, treatment and operations were held at Jakkasandra ward on Sunday last sponsored by Lions Club of BTM Nightingales. This free eye camp for the poor was inaugurated by Lioness Chamundeshwari. Koramangala Block Congress & BTM Assembly Youth Congress wing took a lead role so as to organise this camp. About 300 below poverty line (BPL) citizens attended the camp and were treated for cataract and other eye related problems. Many individuals who were treated got spectacles free of cost
