Nirmala Koramangala – the clean up awareness drive on the lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative Swachh Bharat, will be launched on January 23 at 10 am in Koramangala 4th Block Rectangular Park.
Nirmala Koramangala is the awareness programme on cleanliness initiative taken up by the Koramangala 4th Block Residents’ Welfare Association in association with BBMP and the residents of 4th Block. Koramangala Ward Corporator Kokila Radhakrishna will launch the programme on that day. Bengaluru District Incharge Minister and Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy will preside over the function. This was decided during the monthly meeting of the 4th Block Residents’ Welfare Association chaired by its President G M Shetty on Saturday.
The objective of the programmes is to create and spread cleanliness awareness among the residents and keep surroundings clean. On that day, the pourakarmikas along with residents and RWA office-bearers and members will join hands to clean up the block.
The RWA has requested the residents to participate in the drive in large numbers and make the programme a success.
