Over 125 students of Government Primary School in Rajendranagar of Koramangala 8th Block returned home with a smile on their face on Saturday.
Reason they got free note books, pencil etc. Not only that they got sweets and chocolates too. For the first time in the history of Koramangala 8th Block residents’ Association donated note books, pencil and eraser to the school children.

The day was Kannada Rajyotsava celebration for the RWA at Chamundeshwari Park. Soon after flag hoisting by the Minister Ramalinga Reddy along with Corporator Murugesh Modaliyar in presence of RWA President L Nagaraj, Secretary BD Nagaraj, Vice President Sridhar, Treasurer Harish Babu, Internal Auditor Sujatha Satish, Joint Secretary Seema Murlidhar and others, the children sang a song. After that the Minister distributed the note books kit to the students. Each one of them lined up to receive the kit. Before going home the students got sweets too.
Prizes distributed
Spoorthy Mahila Sangha had recently organised some contests for its members. So on this occasion, prizes were distributed to the winners by Corporator Murugesh Modaliyar.
