Holi was celebrated in KR Nanjappa Layout of Koramangala 8th Block in a grand manner. And this year was their 12th year of celebration of Holi Festival. It was different than previous years because of the presence of esteemed leaders.
The Holika Dahan celebration was graced by Ln Chamundeswari, Sriraj Reddy, son of Home Minister Ramlinga Reddy, Ward 147 Corporator Manjula Sampath and Sampath, BBMP EE Srinivasa Reddy, Congress block and ward presidents and vice presidents -Govardhan Reddy, Harish Babu and Rajesh. The sacred Holi was lit by Sriraj and Manjula. Chamundeswari and Sriraj were kind and sportive to let residents play little colour full holi with them. All residents played colour holi with all the dignitaries and leaders. All the leaders interacted very nicely with all the residents. There was very special zeal among the residents because of the presence of the dignitaries for this festival celebration. After Holika Dhahan, Pooja was performed by all dignitaries and residents and then prasad, snacks and Thandai was served to all. It was indeed colourful festival celebration.
8th block residents also played with colours and water on 2-March near K R Nanjappa Park and made the festival very joyfully memorable.
Residents Prakash Raval and others who organised the festival thank each and every resident who participated in Holi Festival celebration. Special thanks to VIPs for their presence and guests who came from far areas like Electonic City, Rammurthu Nagar, BTM Layout, C V Raman nagar to attend the Holi Festival.
