Inner Wheel Club of Koramangala Leaves a Lasting Legacy

Inner wheel club of Bangalore Koramangla promises to leave a lasting legacy by touching the hearts of the needy, bringing smiles to the faces of children, holding hands of the elderly and educating the students
The installation of the new team took place on 14th July: President Yamini, IPP Ishita, Vice President Suhasini, Secretary Radhika, Treasurer Ritu, ISO Sangeeta, Editor Sujata and all committee members were installed by the District Chairman Padmini Nagachandra.
As the new executive committee for Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Koramangla took over the task from their predecessors they have already started to work upon their Motto of friendship and service.
President Yamini Limaye started work from second July itself by joining hands with Rotary Club of Koramangala President Janet and volunteering for the medical health checkup camp at Rajendranagar area.
Inner wheel club of Bangalore Koramangla distributed sports uniforms to 40 girls – students of GMPS Venkatapura school so as to promote participation of girls in sports. These girls will now be as smartly dressed as any private school when they Parade in front of the spectators at various Tehsil and taluka level sports as well as Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations
Steel water bottles and a steel water storage drum was given to the pourkarmikas working in ST bed area . There were smiles on these ladies faces who otherwise were using used Pepsi and Coke bottles for drinking water.

At Mitra Jyothi training Institute for the Blind a days meal that is breakfast lunch and dinner was provided for by our member Rita Chhabra from IWCB Koramangala.
“We continue to spread the goodness throughout the year and bring joy to the people where it is most needed”, said president Yamini Limaye
IWCB Koramangala held a talk on Breast feeding awareness on Aug 3. This talk was specially about right nutrition for lactating women and hygiene while breastfeeding at NS Palya Primary health centre. Dr Sita Bhat and Padmashree gave the talk and cleared the doubts along with medical officer Dr Malavika.
The club distributed healthy breakfast, Jaggery groundnuts and dates for mothers.
Matrukalpa -a nutritious supplement for moms was also sponsored by Kerala Ayurveda. Baby clothes and toys to were given to babies
