The Aksharabhyasa for the Nursery children was held on 7th June 2017, Wednesday in Prarthana Mandir.
The programme began with the chanting of prayer. Yashaswini S and Nishmitha students of VI standard rendered the invocation song. Principal Saroja Sridharan welcomed Swami Adityanandaji, CEO K S Bhat, parents and the tiny tots to auspicious programme. She introduced Swami Adithyanandaji to the gathering. The traditional lamp lighting ceremony was done by Swami Adithyanandaji, CEO K S Bhat and Principal Smt Saroja Sridharan.
The Saraswathi Pooja was performed by Smt Suma Prasad and the nursery teachers. Swamiji initiated the aksharabhyasa to the tiny tots. Swamiji showed the different ways of writing OM. The parents helped their children write “Om” on the slate amidst the chanting of “Om”.
Principal introduced the nursery class teachers to the parents; Swami Adithyanandaji blessed the gathering through his ashirvachana. Swamiji gave a brief introduction of Chinmaya schools and Mission pledge. Swamiji gave tips to the parents on how they can be a role model to their children. Principal offered the gurudakshina to Swamiji.
The pre-primary coordinator Geethanjali proposed the vote of thanks. The parents and the students headed towards the new academic journey.
