Nadasurabhi Cultural Association’s monthly concert is on Sunday, 19th March at 4.15 pm at the Indian Heritage Academy Hall, in 6th Block, Koramangala. It will be a grand Vocal Concert by Vidushi Dr.Kottapalli Vandana. She will be accompanied by Vidwan Mathur Srinidhi-Violin; Vidwan R.S.R.Srikanth – Mridangam; Vidwan A.S.N.Swamy- Khanjira
Dr. Kottapalli Vandana is one of the prominent artistes in the field of carnatic classical music in Andhra Pradesh. Vandana is a doctorate in music from Andhra University. She is an “A” grade artiste of All India Radio. She is a lecturer in Vocal music at the S.V.College of Music and Dance, Tirupati. Dr.Vandana is born in a musical family and has been trained by leading artists for nearly three decades. She has won several awards and titles. She has performed widely all over the country including Bangalore on several occasions. She has released several CDs including compositions of Annamayya and several Utsava sampradaya kritis.
Mathur Srinidhi is a young violinist who has been accompanying many senior artists in Bangalore for several years now.
RSR Srikanth is a disciple of Umayalpuram Sivaraman and a senior mridangam vidwan who has decades of experience accompanying senior artists. He is an A Grade artist of AIR.
ASN Swamy is a senior Khanjira vidwan who has a long experience in accompanying leading artists in Bangalore.
