President Ishita and members of Inner Wheel Club Of Bangalore Koramangala celebrated Breast feeding awareness week at the Shantinagar Primary Health Centre.
The programme was attended by nearly 60 young mothers. Dr. Shashikiran and Dr. Kaveri gave necessary information on Importance of breastfeeding.
Immediate Past President Padmashree held a small quiz on this topic added with humor bringing smiles to the young mother’s faces.
President Ishita also honoured the local Corporator on his visit during this programme.
The members of the club distributed Nutritional Supplement, baby clothes, bananas, biscuits and a wholesome hot breakfast of ChowChowBhath to all the young mothers present.
The Inner wheel Club of Bangalore Koramangala has been doing this campaign every year at Shantinagar Primary Health Centre for past few years and assured their support in future too.
