The monthly meeting of the committee of Koramangala 4th Block Residents Welfare Association was held on April 23 in the Multi-Purpose Hall, Swabhimana Park, 4th Block, Koramangala, in the presence of M. Chandrappa, Corporator of Ward No. 151.
G M Shetty, President of the Association, explained about frequent load shedding of Electricity, Mosquito menace and pending civil work in 4th Block. He suggested that the BESCOM authorities to be requested to regularize the power supply.
He also mentioned that mosquito spraying and fumigation should be done at least twice in a week in the area. Further, Shetty pointed out that the progress of work of desilting and construction of retaining wall in the main Storm Water Drain is very slow and that the rainy season is fast approaching and a result of which there is likely to be water logging in 5th Cross, 4th Cross and other adjacent areas of 4th Block and will cause lot of problems to the residents.
The Corporator M Chandrappa assured the association that he will immediately take up the matter and discuss the seriousness of the problems with the concerned departmental officers. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and committee members of the Association.
