Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Urban Development Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy, Managing Director of KUIDFC Darpan Jain at the inauguration of new premises of the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation in Indiranagar.
CM reviewed KUIDFC’s plan of initiating 24/7 water supply in 20 towns of North Karnataka.
The main objectives of KUIDFC are:
l To provide technical and other assistance to urban bodies for development, schemes, including implementing of master plans.
l To extend financial assistance by way of loans and advances to urban bodies such as Corporations and Municipalities, Urban Development Authorities and other local bodies and institution as may be notified by the State Government from time to time for their developmental schemes.
l To provide assistance and constancy services to local bodies, authorities, urban development bodies and such other organization for improving their technical and internal capacities and financial resources
l To raise financial resources for implementing Government projects
