CM inaugurates Bosch’s new manufacturing plant in Bidadi

cm bosch 2Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated Bosch’s new manufacturing plant in Bidadi, built at an investment of Rs 340 crores.
The Bosch plant will employ 2600 people and will produce diesel engine automotive products, especially the common-rail fuel injection system pump. Phase 2 will see the investment ramp up to Rs 600 crore and will open in 2018.
Industries Minister R V Deshpande, Peter Tyroller, Board Member, Bosch, Dr Steffen Berns, Managing Director, Bosch India, Industry secretary Ratna Prabha were part of the opening ceremony.
In Septemeber 2013, CM Siddaramaiah had performed the ground breaking ceremony for this plant and it was built in 2 years flat. CM said that he was very happy to see Bosch expanding in Karnataka and would strive to make Karnataka the most investment friendly state in India.
“Our investment summit: INVEST KARNATAKA 2015 is scheduled for November. Karnataka is one of the most investment friendly states. We have come out with a New Industrial Policy offering various incentives for establishing industries in various parts of Karnataka.”, CM Siddaramaiah reiterated.
