Once again the residents of Koramangala have a good opportunity of enjoying classical music by veteran musicians during the annual Rama Navami celebrations under the banner of Sri Rama Seva Mandali in association with Indian Heritage Academy.
This year, the residents can enjoy some good classical music and a classical Bharathanatyam dance for six days starting from March 28 to April 2 at the Indian Heritage Academy hall in Koramangala 6th block.
On March 28 at 9-30 am there will be Pooja & Abhisheka to Lord Sri Rama, distribution of Panaka & Kosambari. At 6-30 pm there will be a Vocal Concert by Vasuda Keshav from Chennai. Vidwan J K Sridhar on Violin, Vidwan K U Jayachandra Rao on Mridangam and Vidwan Anil Parashara on Khanjira will accompany the artiste.
On March 29 at 9-30 am there will be Sathyanarayana Pooja followed by Thirtha Prasad. At 6-30 p.m. there will be Veena Recital by Vidushi M.K. Saraswathi and Vidushi Rajyashree Josyer Srikanth.
Vidwan Cheluvaraju C on Mridangam, Vidwan N Gurumurthy on Ghatam will accompany.
on March 30 at 6-30 pm there will be a Vocal Concert by Vidwan A Sadashivam. Vidwan Shankar Rajan on Violin, Vidwan V.R. Chandrashekar on Mridangam and Vidwan Sri B.R. Ravikumar on Ghatam will accompany. On March 31 at 6-30 pm there will be Dasavani by Rajesh Padiyar & party. On April 1 at 4-30 pm it is Hanumanthotsava. At 6-30 pm there will be a Vocal Concert by Vidwan Sankaran Namboodri.
Vidushi Nalina Mohan on Violin, Vidwan H.S. Sudheendra on Mridangam and Vidushi Sukanya Ramagopal on Ghatam will accompany the artiste.
on April 2 at 6-30 pm there will be a Dance Programme by Kum. Aashika Tantry and Vidushi Shree Latha M S from Sumukh Music & Dance School, Thirthahalli. At 7-15 pm there will be Bharatanatyam by the students of Natyasruti School of Sumitra Nitin.
