March being the month for Women, Samskruthi had “Women’s Day Out” picnic on the 1st and a “Cultural programme” on the 15th of March. The meeting started with the prayer and National Anthem. Secretary made the announcements, Election is due and the nomination forms for various committee posts are open to the members.
Then March arrivals celebrated their Birthday cutting the cake.
It was “Show Time”.
n A medley in Rag Bhimpalas by “Nava Rathnas” led by Smt. Shyamala Krishnan
n Dance by the duo Smt. Anuradha and Smt. Seema as a tribute to Bollywood Super Star Sridevi Kapoor.
n A hilarious skit by the trio Smt. Swarnalatha, Smt. Tara Prabhu and Smt. Shyamala Krishnan
n A folk dance by a fantastic five Smt. Sadhana and group.
Members thoroughly enjoyed the programme that came to an end with the food committee serving lip smacking snacks.
