Nadasurabhi Cultural Association is organising Youth Festival on Saturday 17th February 2018 at The Indian Heritage Academy Hall, in 6th Block, Koramangala
First Concert- Vocal (4.15pm to 5.45 pm) by Vidushi Surabhi Pustakam
Vidwan Vaibhav Ramani -Violin; Vidwan Anirudh Bhat – Mridangam; Vidwan Anil Parashara – Khanjira
Surabhi is a highly talented young artist from Mysore. She is a gold medallist in M.A. Music (Carnatic Vocal). She is cuurently learning advanced lessons from Kum.Amrutha Venkatesh. Surabhi is presently working as Faculty, Department of Carnatic Classical Vocal Music at Dr.Gangubai Hangal Music & Performing Arts,University, Mysore. She is accompanied in this concert by talented young artists.

Vidwans Tejas and Pranav Manjunath -Violin Duet (Boston Brothers)
Vidwan Anirudh Bhat- Mridangam and Vidwan Anil Parashara – Khanjira
Tejas and Pranav are young artists who have been learning carnatic music for over a decade, presently under the tutelege of Sangeetha Kalanidhi A.Kanyakumari. They are performing widely in India and abroad. They have won several prestigious awards and titles.
Nadasurabhi Silver Jubilee Celebrations
Saints Purandaradasa and Thyagaraja Aradhana Celebrations on Sunday, 18th February 2018 at The Indian Heritage Academy Hall, in 6th Block, Koramangala.
I. Purandaradasa Aradhana (4.15pm to 5.15 pm)
Group rendition of Purandaradasa’s Navarathnamalika kritis.
II. Thyagaraja Aradhana (5.30 pm to 6.30 pm)
Group rendition of Thyagaraja’s Pancharatna kritis
Followed by Prasadam (Light Dinner)
Several leading artists of Bangalore would be participating in the aradhana celebrations during this Silver Jubilee Year of Nadasurabhi.

Nadasurabhi has entered its Silver Jubilee year. We shall musically celebrate the entire year till the end of 2018 with various exciting programmes. Their usual February Youth Festival will feature two concerts one vocal and one instrumental.
This year, for the first time they are also holding an elaborate Purandaradasa and Thyagaraja Aradhana celebrations. Several leading artists along with young artists and students of carnatic music are participating. The year will see a string of sparkling monthly concerts, lecture-demonstrations, technical lectures and so on.
Nadasurabhi wants to thank all the artists who have been supporting us over the years. Also, our gratefulness is to its life members, donors, rasikas, general public, music lovers and members of the press without whose help we could not have traveled this far in this journey. We invite everyone to join us in this year’s joyous celebrations of our Silver Jubilee.
