The RWA 4th Block, Koramangala, conducted the Annual Sports Day on Jan 21 at Rectangle Park playground of 4th Block. G M Shetty, President of the Association, declared open the sports to all ages of residents. Speaking on the occasion, Shetty has said that the Sports Day is being conducted for the 3rd consecutive year and it is an occasion for the residents to meet each other and thereby strengthen the unity of the residents. He added further that sports is a good exercise to the body and mind and gives mental relief and happiness.
About 250 residents have participated in various events and prizes and certificates were distributed by the chief guest M Chandrappa, Corporator, in the presence of RWA committee members and residents. Chandrappa, while addressing the gathering, has said that almost all the civil works are completed and few left out roads will be asphalted shortly. The sports events were applauded by all the residents. P K Cherian, General Secretary, conveyed vote of thanks and the sports events concluded with lunch.
