The Koramangala 4th Block Residents’ Welfare Association held a meeting on October 8 with the Executive Engineer, BBMP, in the presence of M Chandrappa, Corporator, Govardhan Reddy, Koramangala Block Congress President and the Surveyor, and discussed various issues for diverting water entering into 4th Block including laying of Hume pipes to solve the flooding problem in 4th Block. After a prolonged discussion, it was decided to prepare a final drawing for the project.
Subsequently, on October 9, Ramalinga Reddy, Honourable Home Minister, has visited 4th Block and at the time, the drawings of the proposed project were shown to him by the Executive Engineer, BBMP in the presence of Chief Engineer, BBMP, Chief Engineer Storm Water Drain, RWA members and residents. The Home Minister, after discussions with Engineers has given the green signal for the said project.
