Navaratri has seen fun full of 11 days festival celebration which started on 21-September and ended on 30-September with special celebration for Sharad Purnima day on 5th October by Chamundeshwari Navaratri Group – residents of K R Nanjappa Layout in Koramangala 8th Block.
Daily there were couple of hundred people joined the celebration. There were total 4 competitions held and many participated with lots of zeal. 23-September, ‘Flower Rangoli in Thali’ competition had total 38 participants with 5 winners. 25-September, ‘Fancy Dress’ competition for children saw 40+ participants with 9 winners. 28-September, ‘Aarthi Thali and Diya decoration’ had 60 participants and Goddess ‘Maha Aarthi’ was performed with all these 60 Aarthis. There were total 15 winners declared. 29-September, ‘Mythical Jodi Dressing’ had 18 participants, all were given special gifts. The VIPs who took part in the festival celebration were Chamudeswari Ramalinga Reddy, Sowmya Reddy, Govardhan Reddy, Corporator Manjula and Sampath kumar, Harish Babu and Jagadish Reddy. BJP leaders Sudarshan and Jayadev too took part in the festivities. The Navaratri was concluded with lots of fun and zeal on 30-September. Special celebration held on 5-October for Sharad Purmina festival. Again many joined the celebration with lots of enthusiasm and fun. With this Navaratri festival is concluded.
