On 27th April, Koramangala Ward 151 Corporator M Chandrappa and BBMP Officials Executive Engineer Srinivas Reddy, Assistant Executive Engineer Chennaveeraiah, Assistant Engineer Hariprasad had an inspection of 6th cross (Club Road) regarding concerting and widening of the road along with Koramangala 6th Block Residents’ Welfare Association Managing Committee members and few residents. During the inspection, EE Srinivas Reddy and Corporator Chandrappa said that earlier they have decided to concrete and widening of the road was from kota katchori (17th Main Road 100ft road) to 17th D main road. But now it is extended till 18th Main road 6th cross junction, they said.
Before concreting desilting work of drains will be done on both sides of the Club Road. It is planned to make a 6th cross Club Road as a Model Road.
While inspecting Corporator Chandrappa instructed BBMP to remove the roadside vendors on 17th D Main, besides all foothpath encroachments by commercial establishments has to be removed.
As a precaution, BBMP will be issuing a notice to all the residents / commercial establishments to change the cables and identify in case any repairs/reworks are required. This will avoid lot of problems in the future.
