The Valedictory function for the outgoing students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Koramangala, held on 23rd February, was a mixture of joyful and poignant moments.The students of standard 10 and 12, along with their parents attended the function after a scrumptious breakfast hosted by the management.
The programme began with the usual lighting of the lamp by the CEO Mr. K.S Bhat and the Principal Mrs. Saroja Sridharan followed by a warm welcome by Mrs.Sathya Rani, the co-ordinator of the ICSE stream. The students of std XI shouldered the responsibility of hosting the programme beautifully and efficiently. The two school captains Anusha and Shreyas, with a few others shared their wonderful memories with the audience, while the four class teachers Mrs. Hamsapriya, Mrs. Shrabosti, Mrs. Radhika and Mrs. Alagammai recollected the precious moments they had with their children.Both the CEO and the Principal addressed the gathering, encouraged the children and wished them all success in their future endeavours.A few parents also spoke and applauded the school’s effort in providing holistic education to their children. Following the tradition of passing the parade the teachers lit the candles for the students, as they step forth into a new world. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Gopa Basu. The programme ended with Shanti mantra and National Anthem.
