Koramangala 6th Block Residents’ Welfare Association conducted Kannada Rajyotsava in a grand manner for all the residents of Koramangala ward. The event began on November 26 with the hoisting of the Kannda Flag by the Corporator Chandrappa along with 6th Block RWA President Jayaramu, Secretary Suresh N Gowda, Srinivas and office bearers and residents of the block.
The woemn group sang the State Anthem and songs on the occasion.
In the evening cultural performances by Kannada cultural groups were organised. Earlier, the residents event began in the afternoon with competition in- essay writing, the junior category under 15years and adults group
Many reputed folk artistes from all over Karnataka were performing throughout the day and there were stalls exibiting variety of products ranging from rarest silk to finest handicrafts and of course food stalls to pleasure one’s appetite.
