November starts with Rajyothsava, continues celebrating Children’s Day and ends with Thanks giving!!
On the 17th Samskruthi Ladies’ Association (SLA) had a meeting packed with a series of activities. Cake cutting by birthday girls, novel Housie-Quiz on Karnataka, Group Cookery Contest and colouring competition for the children of YWCA school.
Members came in red and yellow to mark Rajyothsava celebrations. Members were happy answering the quiz and collecting prizes for housie. Ms. Sarasu Medappa and Ms. Sarala Bailey were the judges, 3 groups were chosen out of 6, who presented “Food Court” with their variety of meal preparation.
Four children from YWCA school won prizes for colouring. All the children were given goodie bags, some members additionally made contributions for the same. The day was filled with fun and frolic. Their next meeting is on the 1st of December.
