Aksharabhyasa at Chinmaya Vidyalaya

The Aksharabhyasa for the Nursery children was held on Wednesday (June 8) in Prarthana Mandir, Chinmaya Vidyalaya. The programme began with the chanting of prayers Priyanka, Chinmayi and Sindushree students of IX standard rendered the invocation song.
Principal  Saroja Sridharan welcomed the parents and the tiny tots to auspicious programme. She gave a brief introduction about Chinmaya Mission, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s centenary birth celebrations and Chinmaya Vidyalaya. She highlighted the achievements of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Koramangala in the year 2015-16. She introduced Swamini Sampannananda to the gathering. The traditional lamp lighting ceremony was done by Swamini Sampannananda and Principal Saroja Sridharan.
The Saraswathi Pooja was performed by the Nursery teachers under the guidance of Swamini Sampannananda. She initiated the aksharabhyasa to the tiny tots. The parents helped their children write ‘OM’ and ‘HARI OM’ on the state amidst the chanting of ‘OM’.
Principal introduced the nursery class teachers to the parents, Swamini Sampannanda blessed the gathering through her ashirvachana. Swamini spoke about the role of a parents in the character building of a child. Principal offered the gurudakshina to Swamini Sampannanda.
The pre-primary Co-ordinator  Geethanjali proposed the vote of thanks. The parents and students headed towards the new academic journey.
