Mamoor Welfare Trust hosted its annual general body meeting on October 11 (Sunday) at the Koramanagala Mamoor Mosque premises.
The meeting was presided over by the chief guest Danyal Kazi who is also the president of Mamoor Mosque.
The Mamoor Welfare Trust was founded in the year 1999 by retired Assistant Commissioner of Police MS Mulla who is also the chairman. In the past 16 years, Mamoor Welfare Trust has been serving the society selflessly in the field of education and healthcare In association with renowned doctors from Kidwai Hospital, Devi Eye Hospital and Apollo Hospital the trust has conducted several health check up camps across Koramangala.
The Mamoor Health Centre provides free medicines to the patients and close to 4 lac patients have benefited from the trust till date.
“In the field of education, the trust has sponsored close to 3000 students till date, starting from LKG to post graduation. The trust has also assisted multiple students pursuing medicine, engineering and management programmes”, said Ghouse Baig. “Additionally the trust has provided infrastructure support such as black boards, benches, uniforms, note books, consessional bus basses to students etc to schools and students”, he added.
The trust is extremely grateful to the donors, contributors and wellwishers for all the support extended.
