Public Relations Council of India, Bangalore Chapter every year celebrates Daughters’ Day in the memory Kalpana Chawla. During the celebration it honours the girls and women are who achieved in their respective field and contributed to the society.
This year honours were bestowed to Ms. Ashwini Angadi Born Blind girl and achieved excellence for the society. Vijayalakshmi Shibaruru Journalist- Suvarnas News, Radhika Bhardwaj TV 9 Anchor, Mamatha Gowda, Bharathi Prathap Musician, Ms. Vandana Supriya and others. The function was held at NMKRV College on Saturday. Nagambika Devi, Principal Secretary, Prof. Padma Shekar, Vice Chancellor, Karnataka Sanskrit University, S V Rajendra Singh Babu, Chairman Karnataka Film Academy, B K Padma Behen,, M.B Jayaram, Chief Mentor PRCI, Dr. K.R Venugopal Principal, UVCE, Dr. B.K Ravi Chairman PRCI, Latha T.S Chairman Elect were present.
