Shoes given to Koramangala Govt School children

Bringing joy in a small way for the children of Koramangala
The school children of Koramangala Government School in Koramangala village got new shoes on Monday. Thanks to Koramangala 3rd Block Residents Welfare Association for sponsoring for the third time in succession. A function was held at the School under the aegis of the Lions Club of BTM Nightingales where shoes were distributed.
The function was presided over by Ln Chamundeshwari Ramalinga Reddy. Office bearers of the Lions Club BTM Nightingales and Koramangala 3rd Block Residents Welfare Association joined her in distributing  footwear to the children. It was a really special day for the children and their smiles & laughter said it all. In all, over 350 students studying in the school were benefited by the exercise.  Sumithra, President of Lions Club of BTM Nightingales, Ajay Reddy, President of Koramangala 3rd Block Residents’ Welfare Association, Vishwanath, former Secretary of the RWA, Govardhan Reddy, Koramangala Ward Congress President, School Headmistress Sharadamma and others were present.
Koramangala 3rd Block residents had recently organized a Charity Run & Walk to raise funds to provide footwear to these kids.
