Taal Samvaad held

city kemp DSC_1166 city kempTablaGyan – School of Music held the concert – “TAAL SAMVAAD” on May 16. For the music school based at Koramangala, TAAL SAMVAAD marked the beginning of a series of concerts involving – “baithaks”, “house concerts”, “music workshops”, “music retreat camps”and “informal programmes” spread across the year. TablaGyan plans to conduct such events once in a quarter at different venues across Bangalore.
The motto of the school being “Play the Music, not the Instrument”, this initiative of the school is to mainly encourage students of the school to inculcate a spirit of music performance to awaken the artist and hidden talent inside them. The TAAL SAMVAAD series ensures that the student’s learning curve follows this theory. In the past, the school has conducted various concerts and workshops such as “Riyaz and Rhythm” etc.
TablaGyan – school of music, based at ST Bed Layout, Koramangala,  is the brainchild of Dilip Puranik – Tabla Artist, teacher and performer. Incorporated in the year 2000, TablaGyan mainly focusses on Tabla education. Till now the school has imparted quality education to more than 150 students across the globe. The institute also provides examination based coaching for students through Akhila Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay.
