KSRTC celebrates International Women’s Day

city kempThe KSRTC celebrated International Women’s Day on April 1 at KSRTC Central Office, Bengaluru. During the event Ramalinga Reddy, Minister for Transport, Lohit Naikara, Vice Chairman, KSRTC, Rajender Kumar Kataria, Managing Director KSRTC, were present.
On this occasion KSRTC honoured one lady conductor & lady mechanic of 17 divisions of KSRTC for their good work & also honoured retired women employees in the last one year in KSRTC Central Office.
Eminent guests were present during the event: Dr. Venkataramana, Vice Chairman, BGS Global Hospital; Sanjana, Kannada Film Star; Sangeetha Katti, Singer; BU Geetha Writer and Cine Actress; Chandan, Kannada Film Star; Shraya, Film Actress; and Ruchalika, Film Actress. The event started with the Bharatanatyam dance performance by Kum. Reddy Pravalika.V, KSRTC employee daughter. There was a free eye checkup camp was organized for women employees in association with Narayana Netralaya. Tree saplings were planted on the occasion.
Till date KSRTC is awarding the accident free drivers to with Gold and Silver medal for their meritorious service. From April 1 onwards conductors are also will be awarding with merit award and Gold and Silver medal.
