The Builders’ NGV Club celebrated the New Year in a grand manner. The Club wore a festive look with colourful decoration, lighting and the Cultural Committee organised a Carnival event with a number of stalls, bonfire, DJ’s rocking the stage along with dances and songs and fireworks lighting up the sky to welcome the New Year.
Club President H N Vijaya Raghava Reddy in his speech wishing you all a warm and happy New Year 2015 said that recently we conducted annual Sports Day. Lots of efforts were put in to organise the event but only few Members took part in it. Therefore, I request all the members to take part in the sports activities and competition. Taking part in sports is more important than winning and to keep a healthy mind it is absolutely necessary to keep the body fit and healthy.
On the upcoming programs he said that the Club Bar Night will be celebrated in February.
“The construction work of Club House will start soon and will have additional facilities of International standards.To provide the catering services to Members during the construction of Club house, we are already working to provide the facilities at the Terrace restaurant. The work will be completed soon and members can make use of the same”, he said.
“The proposed tennis court will be taken up over the duct slabs near parking area adjoining to swimming pool where the children play equipments are located”, he added.
Club Secretary K J Ravindra said that the Club was decorated for Christmas and celebrated with great enthusiasm. “For the New year’s eve it was a DJ who made the members dance till they dropped, along with entertainers from different fields who gave us the variety. Stalls with a choice in food and games created a lively environment. Pocket friendly yet enjoyable programme was highly appreciated. It was a beautiful way to wrap up the year 2014 and welcome 2015”, he added.
The ground breaking of the new Club House building of Builders’ NGV Club was held on December 10 in a simple ceremony attended by many Managing Committee members. The construction work will start during this month.
