
After the high spirits of the festive season and the New Year parties, the perfect place to de-stress and chill over the weekend was at Jayamahal Palace Hotel where the second edition of the Bengaluru Pet Show in 2014 which is going on.
The event will come to an end on Sunday, January 4, at 6 pm.
The all-comprehensive ‘Pet Santhe’ hosted by Blue N White is a memorable time for one and all.
An exotic array of birds including Macaws, cockatoos, Amazon and Grey parrot, Ringed-neck pheasants, Golden Pheasants, variety of fowls, pigeons, some of the best and most popular breed of dogs and a fine collection cats are at the show.
For the aquatic fish and aquarium lovers a wide range of all the best aquarium fishes including Sharks, Arawanas, Flower horns are on display in the beautifully designed aquariums set up by Gulmarg, Bengaluru’s top aquarium centre. Their head office is in Koramangala. Kaleem, the owner of Gulmarg said that FISH SPA also feature on the aquatic side of the show.
There is an exclusive stall offering a ‘La Carte’ menu for pets, owners and visitors can have their pick from the dozen food stalls. Dr. G. Pampapathi, an MVSc Gold Medalist and Pet Practitioner in Bangalore and NSW, Australia and a small team of vets are providing some free vet advice while pet owners and the visitors can have their BP, Blood Sugar, Body Fat Analysis, BMI checked free of charge courtesy Brookefield Hospital.
“This year our theme is ‘Scoop your pet’s poop’and pet owners will be encouraged to use the Poop Scoopers while walking their pets in public areas,” said Satya Narayan, the Event Director of ‘Bangalore Pet Show 2015′. Informal competitions for dogs and cats, courtesy Chicopee Pet Foods is being held on both days while Canine Behaviorist C.V Franklin will be on hand with two shows on the two days.
