Rashtrakavi Kuvempu Kannada Autorickshaw Drivers’ Welfare Association in association with Peace Auto celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava in a grand manner last Sunday at the residence of Subash Reddy, businessman, in Koramangala 4th Block. This was their 8th year of celebration in Koramangala.
On that day, Health check up and blood donation camp was organised under the aegis of Lions Club of BTM Nightingales. Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. This was joined by founder-President of Lions Club of BTM Nightingales Ln Chamundeshwari and other office bearers of the Lions Club of BTM Nightingales. Peace Auto founder Anil Shetty, businessman Subash Reddy and others were present on the occasion. Then pooja was performed to the Goddess near the auto stand which was attended by all. After that the Minister hoisted the Kannada Flag at the mini park in front of Raheja Residency apartments. Many auto drivers and residents voluntarily donated blood.
